MSI have added the GT663 laptop to its line up, this is the latest model in the G series of laptops that are clearly designed to attract the attention of gamers with enough hardware included to please even the most fussy of gamers.
It seems that poor resolution is one of the complaints from gamers, they like the portability of using a laptop, but not the fact that they are unable to see all of what is going on because the resolution cannot handle the sophisticated graphics.
MSI have put together a great package of specs including a quad core Intel Core i7 CPU, up to 12GB of DDR3 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M graphics with 1.5GB of GDDR5 RAM fully capable of being able to support DirectX 11, and on top of that there is the choice of either a 500GB, 640GB or 1TB RAIDs. MSI have chosen to go with Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.
The buyer even gets to choose between the optional DVD and Blu-ray drives, which is a difficult choice to make as it depends on how the buyer wants to view video content. There will be no issues with the quality of sound either as there is a nice a set of Dynaudio speakers included into the build.
The 15.6-inch panel comes in either full HD or backlit styles yet another choice for buyer, plus the standard connectivity features of the 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR a 1x Gigabit LAN. There are also two USB 2.0 ports, plus two super fast USB 3.0 ports as well as eSATA, an Express Card reader and a handy five in one multi card reader.
In fact, this is a computer that could offer the gamer the ultimate laptop designed with gamers in mind, whether the target audience see it that will remain to be seen because currently there are no prices or details of availability at the moment.
